Four Volume Set. Half gilt-ruled red morocco over marbled boards with gilt particulars to spine. Six double-ruled compartments; five raised bands Top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Volumes I and II read 1853 at base of spine, while Volumes III and IV read 1855. Frontispieces to all volumes. Bookplate of Anne Cowdray to front pastedown. Slight chipping to top left corner of front board of Volume I and bottom right corner of Volume IV (see image).
