J Gadsby, 1867. First edition hardback. The embossed purple cloth binding is dull, the bottom of the spine is nicked, the front hinge is broken internally after the title leaf. The endpaper has an owner's inscription. The title is browning and partially detached. Th e text has some light browning throughout, some light foxing in places, and pencil marginal marks, it is well bound together.
