Blue cloth over boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Black and white frontis reproduction of an original manuscript page. Two appendices: "Richard Rolle and a Bishop - a Vindication", 15 pages, and "Richard Rolle and the Sorbonne", 29 pages, along with a 6 page general index at the back. Previous onwer's name on the front free end paper, otherwise the text is clean and the binding is tight. The externals show mild shelf wear and the blue cloth on the spine is faded. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .
