About This Item
New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1953. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine/Fine. 8vo., 212pp. Beautiful Stated First Edition, bound in yellow and orange patterned paper-covered boards. Titles in black upon a white paper label on spine. Square, tight and clean throughout with just a couple of spots of wear on the bottom edge and a tiny spot of toning to the heel. Very well-preserved. Equally attractive unclipped dust jacket, ($2.50), has a bit of fairly mild rubbing to edges and folds. A touch of soiling to rear panel. Still fresh and bright with no creases, chipping or tears. A gorgeous collectable copy at a very good price.
