Paris: Chez Michel-Estienne David, 1738. First Edition. Full Leather. Good binding. A treatise of the mechanisms and anatomy of the eye, by Jean Taylor, 'Oculiste du Roy de la Grande Bretagne.' With five folding plates at the rear. Early owner's name on the half title. Full speckled calf with gilt lettering; joints cracked but holding well, with minor loss at the head and tail of the spine. Good binding.

Library and institutional billing requirements are accommodated.
