The second edition of this work. Rebound in a lovely half morocco binding. Written by Sir Herbert Edward Read, an English art historian and philosopher. He wrote numerous works on art including influential writings on the role of art in education. In a quarter morocco binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, excellent with minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. First few leaves are cockled. Pages are generally bright and clean throughout. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
