From the estate of a local mystery lover/author, this is a True FIRST EDITION, First Printing hardcover from 1977 in Near Fine condition in a VG+ DJ. The book is extremely clean, pages slightly off-white, binding tight & square. NO writing/underlining/highlighting; NOT ex-lib. Virtually flawless! A few light spots on first page of text seem to be only flaw. The unclipped DJ is beautiful & nicely protected in a new archival mylar cover, but downgraded to VG+ due to a tad of edgewear & light soiling to white area of back cover. The series of cases solved by McGarr and his Dublin Murder Squad eventually reached 22; several were re-issued under differnet titles (to what end this, is another mystery). This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition.Turquoise cloth binding with silver titling on the spine. Clean text; 185 pages. A few scattered spots on the top edge, and very subtle hints of sun around the margins, else a Fine copy. The dustjacket is unclipped, with slight darkening to the rear panel. In an archival plastic protector.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
