Contents follow an arrangement in which normal pregnancy, labour, and the puerperium are explained on simple lines while the complications of childbearing are introduced later as a separate section. Revised to reflect the trend towards hospital confinements and the necessity for ante-natal care. Further, advances in medicine have benefitted midwifery and are reflected. Average wear.
