(1st edition, 1st printing) Large, thicker sturdy book, quality dark blue cloth, bright silver lettering on spine, a pink, lavender and gray map of May 1, 1960 mission inside covers and adjacent end papers, 494 pages including a glossy photo section. Tiny brown spotting to pages' exterior edges. DJ glossy gray background, red and white lettering with photo of U-2 aircraft, leaders of U.S. and USSR on front, praise on back from James Michener, Hugh Sidey, and Stephen Ambrose. DJ has two tiny dents at top back edge near spine. Near Very Fine DJ/Good book.
