(CBI Theater) beginning in 1937. Led by Claire Chennault (later General Chennault) the Flying Tigers were under Chinese control as the 1st American Volunteer Group and utilized all volunteer American pilots. After Pearl Harbor they became an American asset but were still working with Chiang Kai-Chek to attack Japanese targets in China. A clean very presentable copy.
