About This Item

London: Printed for H. Whitridge, at the Royal Exchange; R. Griffiths, in Pater-Noster Row, and G. Woodfall, at Charing-Cross, 1755. FIRST AND ONLY EDITION. 8vo, 180 x 111 mms.,pp. [iv], 72, 65 - 72, 81-112, 19th century quarter calf, rebacked, marbled boards (worn); lacking half-title, ex-library sticker on verso of title-page, inner margin of title-page defective, and title-page soiled, stab-holes visible inner margin; a so-so copy.
