A fine copy in a near fine dust jacket, small and almost invisible closed tear to spine at front panel fold, some discoloration to reverse at spine ends. First edition. Author's last completed novel, published posthumously. New Yorker Isabel Ostrander [1883-1924] was a prolific writer of mystery stories for the fiction magazines of the early twentieth century, and also wrote under the pseudonyms Robert Orr Chipperfield, David Fox and Douglas Grant.
