Blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Plaintext dustwrapper with cream and blue coloured titles to the front panel and blue coloured titles to the backstrip. Quoting the front dustwrapper panel blurb " ... This book is a refresher course for those who have had at some time covered most of the necessary work but who have "forgotten the work done at school." A guide to the essentials for those who have not covered the necessary work ... An introduction to Air Navigation and Air Work in general, intended to interest the reader in most of the difficulties he will meet in practice." Softening and a little rubbing of the backstrip edges and bowing of the rear board. Age toning of the textblock edges and pages. Heavy foxing to the first few and last few pages of the book with the occasional foxing spot throughout. The dustwrapper has chipping of the corners, and of the backstrip edges. Rubbing, marking and staining to the dustwrapper with a few small tears to the lower dustwrapper edge. Staining to the verso. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [6], VII - XI, [2], 2 - 197, [3] pages,.
