The Newbery Award winner for 1942, an historical adventure from the author of Drums Along the Mohawk. Illustrated with 40 lithographs by Paul Lantz in both 4-color and rich gray-scale. Corners bumped, address label to front pastedown and front jacket flap, else very good in heavily chipped, price clipped dj, no medal sticker to jacket.
