First published in 1939 the copy offered is a 4th printing 1947 by Pitman Publishing New York with the US price on flap fold overprinted and 18/- UK price to bottom corner. Very Good/ Very Good (Mild shelf wear to cloth, light foxing spots to edges of book block- not encroaching to margins. No previous owner name or insc. Dust Jacket- rubbed principally to head with a little loss - 4x4 mm approx. Laid on colour plate clean. Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve. No other notable defects to book or jacket).
