First English edition, first issue, 8vo, (viii), 339, (1), 47 advertisement, (1) pp. 12 black and white plates, some light foxing, inscribed from the author on the fly leaf to his agent James B. Pinker. Original pictorial cloth, spine a little darkened with slight rubbing of the gilt, otherwise an excellent copy. The advertisements are dated August 1900.
