Reviews
On Apr 3 2020, a reader said:
Gregory Quist, railroad detective, is sent to solve the reason why a train wrecked, and discovers it was more than a robbery that derailed the train. There is a lot of tangled up evidence he has to sort out, before he can clear up this business. William Colt MacDonald's Gregory Quist novels are some of my favorite works by this author. His other series about the Three Mesquiteers is just as good, and I recommend those as well. But in the Quist work you not only have a "western" feel to the stories, but a "mystery" feel, as he has to examine clues and determine where they lead him next. These are great stories. Fun stories to read; great entertainment, nostalgic, traditional.
