Includes reports on Maryland's physical features, geology, mines and minerals, agriculture, natural history, fish and fisheries, oysters, commerce and transportation, manufacturers, cities and public buildings, political institutions, churches, education, population, charities and correction, AND six fold out maps to the rear. Bound in original dark green cloth boards with gilt title and emblem to front board. The spine is titled with simply the word "Maryland." A few scuff marks, light rubbing, and closed tears to book cloth. Both interior hinges are cracked; however, the text block remains attached to boards. Marbled endpapers. Clean interior. Closed tear to crease of larger fold-out map and minor wear to edges. 504 pages. MD/060722.
