Boston: Congregational Sunday-School and Publishing Society, 1887. 8vo, pp. 437; 2 plates; one signature starting, upper hinge cracked, else good or better in original brown cloth, gilt lettering on spine and upper cover. Riggs and his wife Mary were missionaries to the Sioux, stationed mostly at Lac Qui Parle in Minnesota. Riggs was the author of the Dakota Grammar and Dictionary and the Gospel among the Dakotas.
