Norwich, CT: The Henry Bill Publishing Company, 1888. Book. Very Good. Cloth. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Green cloth with gilted tiles, rules, and designs to front and spine. Green marbled page edges. Illustrated with over three hundred and fifty fine engravings and maps. This copy is VG. Exterior moderate/modest rubbing and edge wear, but gilt is still attractive, especially the ancient cliff dwellers representation on the front. Interior is clear, unmarked and securely bound. Back hinge starting but holding nicely. Page edges have a faded, "stained" framing of page edges in the margins, not affecting the text. Otherwise only modest age toning. Decorative tan EPs. 715 pp. Heavy. Media mail only..
