First edition and printing, In near fine plus dark red cloth boards, gilt titles to back strip. The boards are very tight, flat and clean; spine ends very slightly bumped. Very white, unmarked end papers; top and fore cut edges are very lightly foxed. The text block is very tightly bound, straight and white and clean and almost as new. Fine condition and excellent for age. No dedications and not annotated. Inside near fine beige glossy dust jacket with red decoration to front and black titles. The jacket is clean and with slight wear to edges. Not price clipped.
