Charlottesville: Winterthur / University Press of Virginia, 1980. (12), 505 pages. Identifies 1,700 marks of American silversmiths. Selected from items in the Ineson-Bissell Collection of Small Silver Objects in the Winterthur Museum, mostly spoons but also other silver items. All were made by American silversmiths between 1670 and 1870, with more than 1400 persons identified. A nice tight copy. Sunning to edges of cover; just a smattering of foxing to top edge; toning to edges of endpapers, with non-authorial inscription on ffep. DJ has small creases along spine and top edge, with some small closed tears along top edge as well. White rear and flaps are toned. In new mylar.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.
