No place, no date (but 19th century and most likely Paris). Manuscript. 30 folio sheets, each written upon on recto and verso in a contemporary hand. Disbound. The author at the beginning states: "J'ai l'honneur de vous remettre la note que vous m'avez demandée, en même temps que les analyses que j'ai eu (?), elles contiennent 30 pages, contenant l'analyse de 39 manuscrits.... " He is adressing his report to "Monsieur le Ministre" and says this first report contains a description of the scientific manuscripts in the Bibliothèque Royale.
