Quarter vellum gilt with blue cloth printed with "MT" in gilt, drop-back box, landscape 4to., (iv), 100, (5) pages. 100 leaves numbered in blind of typographic designs by Hermann Zapf of quotations in 16 languages, utilizing numerous modern and historical Stempel types. One of 1,000 copies printed by Heinrich Egenolf in red and black at Stempel's House Printing Office. Supplemental sewn 47 page booklet "Texte und Ubersetzungen in Deutscher Sprache" laid in. Bound by Willy Pingel. A very fine copy. Enclosed in the rarely encountered original blue cloth and paper-covered drop-back box, titled in gilt on the spine and with "MT" in gilt on the cover; the box is quite worn and soiled, but has served well to protect the book.
