About This Item

The Classics of Neurology & Neurosurgery Library, 1983. Full Leather. Near Fine. Facsimile reproduction of the 1853 Sydenham Society edition (two volumes, here bound as one). Page edges gilded; bound-in ribbon bookmark; full bonded leather with hubbed spine; gilt titles and decoration; marbled endpapers. Except for a few tiny spots of wear in the gilding around the edges, excellent. Publisher's bookplate identifies prior owner and that this is copy 492 in a print run of 1000. Collector's notes pamphlet laid in. Remarkable for its early enumeration of diagnostic tests corresponding to particular neurological damage.
