New York: Common Council, 1860. Hardcover. 12mo; Fair/no DJ; Hardcover w/out DJ, rebound; Spine, black with gold print; Boards in brown cloth with gold print, mild wear to spine head, small surface tears on rear; Text block missing frontispieces (2 maps), title page tearing at hinge, paper is lightly age-toned with some foxing, checked against The Society of Iconophiles "Index" (1906), the numerous illustrations, many on folded plates, (maps, chromolithographs, engravings, facsimiles, etc.) are present but for the frontispieces; Spine title: Manual of the Conmon [i.e., Common] Council of N.Y. 1860"; xi, 630 pages, illustrated (some color).
NOTE: Shelved in Room X, atop one of the bookcases. 1317553. FP New Rockville Stock.
