Small 8vo, original cloth with gilt illustration on covers and gilt lettering on spine, illustrated, 560 pp. Binding worn and chipped, some pieces missing from backstrip at spine and extremities, some parts of backstrip a little loose, some signatures slightly sprung, contents a bit browned and aged, a couple of pages a bit browned, normal aging. Maps detached, one repaired, two others have some tears at the margins or folds; still a decent set of plates. Complete. This volume includes three folding maps of the City of New York, a view of what appears to be the original Fraunce's Tavern, residence of Governor George Clinton, the Beekman Mansion, and the residence of Bishop Moore. Lawrence p. 11-13.
