About This Item

I. Nevins, 1986. Hardcover. Very Good with no dust jacket/No Dustjacket. Crip, bright, clean pages; square, secure binding; full cloth cover bears some sunning at the spine, gentle softening at the spine heel and spots of surface rubbing at heel and corners as well as two very small, closed tears with attendant creases along the top edge of the marbled paper sample pasted on the front, otherwise lovely. Numbered 27 of 300 and signed by Iris Nevins on the copyright page. Nevins provides the 18 samples of hand-marbled papers made using the directions in the text, replacing the seven samples made by Charles Williams for the original edition of 1856.; Signed by Illustrator.
