Book is a limited edition of 1,000 copies, of which this is #628. Preface by Adrian Piera. Glossy burgundy boards, gilt titling on spine and front, decorative gilt border on front, illustrated end papers, frontispiece, text on ochre pages with decorative white borders, illustrated with handsome colour plates as well as sepia photographs and maps, 104 pages. Corners and spine ends have negligible wear, very light shelf wear, there is a tiny rubbed mark at lower edge of first free end paper, This is a very handsome volume - clean, bright and tight.
