Tall, heavy octavo, limited edition of unspecified limit, pp. xi, 318, printed beige cloth boards, gravure frontispiece and 75 photos printed in so-called Doubletone, a halftone process that looks almost as good as a gravure. Author includes Brooklyn and Queens as part of Long Island. 33 Long Island houses discussed, with another 9 on Staten Island. Condition of this book: Bottom and top edges dust-darkened, clean inside, overall very good. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
