About This Item
London: Henry Fisher, 1927. Hardcover. Good. All the engravings present: that opposite the frontispiece has the two central figures 'enhanced' with pink watercolour. A poem has been penned on the rear endpiece and inside back cover. The quarter leather back cover is hanging by a thread; also very rubbed and worn. The front cover has been replaced with a thick piece of grey cardboard, cut to size, and attached with light brown tape on both sides as hinges. The leather label with gilt title is still attached to the very worn original leather spine. The binding within is stout; the pages clean. A small amount of foxing to the engravings.
