Cora Hind (newspaper columnist and agronomist); St. James Anglican Church; Grund Lutheran Church (oldest Icelandic church in Canada); The Anson Northrup (first steam-powered freight boat on the Red River); The Settlement of New Iceland; Pine Fort (Fort Des Pinettes, a base for independent Montreal fur traders 1768-1781); Ernest Thompson Seton (author and naturalist); The Origin of the Name 'Manitoba'; The Honourable James McKay (Metis politician and fur trader); Thomas Douglas, Fifth Earl of Selkirk; The Hudson Bay Railway.
