Unworn except for tiny closed tear at top spine edge. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pages are clean - no names, writing or marks. Foreword by John B. Tsu, introduction, Chinese characters, sounds, parts of speech, A-Z dictionary, more. 660 pages. Jacket has some edge chipping, a few faint water stains to edges; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. .
