Very Good. hardback. 1st Edition. hardback, two volumes, octavo, pictorial grey cloth lettered black, edges rough-trimmed, a little dulled to spines and darkened to the edges, uncommonly this set is still with its original orange pictorial wrappers, albeit chipped, rubbed and creased, now faded to brown and protected in archival film sleeves, a very good tightly bound set, minor spotting to the pre-lims, the text clean and free of marking, inscriptions or signatures of previous owners, b&w plates and illustrations, xix, 358 + xiii, 332 pp.
