Book Club edition. *Make Me an Offer, first published by Deutsch in 1952, was the basis for a 1954 film directed by Cyril Frankel and starring Peter Finch. A Kid for Two Farthings (Deutsch, 1953), was the basis for a 1955 film directed by Carol Reed.
