Authoritative account of 18th century interiors of Great Houses. FRENCH TEXT. Ivory cloth cover with burgundy red lettering to spine. 12 1/2" Tall. Dark Brown discolouration to cloth at top and bottom (a band about 1" tall at the top and about 1/2" tall at the bottom.), front boards are worst affected, fainter discolouration to spine ends and rear boards. No inscriptions except tiny penciled price & ref no. on endpaper. Some age darkening to top and fore page edges and a few small spots of foxing. Bottom corners of rear endpaper and last page of index have some pieces worn away. Jacket has a few closed edge tears ( about 1" long) and 3 small pieces missing, at top & bottom corner and top edge at the back (see photo). Book weighs 2.2 Kilos so…
