First G.B. edition (first published in France as 'Le Revolver de Maigret' in1954). Jacket designed by Fritz Wegner. Blue cloth with gilt titles to spine. Binding firm. Sunning to top edges and foot of spine where jacket missing. Foxing to endpapers and prelims, heavier to text block edges occasionally creeping into margins. Very small date 3 APR 1956 stamped to front free endpaper. Jacket unclipped, priced at 10s. 6d. net, losses to spine ends, chipping to corners, creasing and tears to edges, light foxing to panels. Not ex-library. No names, notes or inscriptions. 157pp. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
