Edinburgh and London: William Blackwood and Sons, 1872. Very Good. vii, pp 1-319 Volume I only. Nicely bound in half calf over marbled boards, gilt spine lettering with raised bands. Very good, rubbed to edges and spine ends, leather split along the spine but the binding is tight, the pages crisp and clean. Author's signature tipped in to front end paper "Very faithfully yours R D Blackmore". Two ownership inscriptions to front pastedown, one rubbed out. Very Good 1872
