William Blackwood & Sons, 1895. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1895. New Edition. 471 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Library copy, with stamps to text block edges and traces of plates to pastedowns and endpapers. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Heavier tanning and foxing to other pages. Water staining to some pages including more heavily to pages 2-3. Front free endpaper heavily scratched and smeared. Pen inscription to half title page. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Severe water damage to edge of front board. Some fraying to cloth at spine ends.
