Much on Wollen manufacture including specific Wool-Searchers oath to prevent fraud; this book being published in wool-rich Gloucestershire. Signature of Charles Newton of Enfield on FFEP, front hinge tender, top of spine worn and chipped, date 1794 written in ink under date on title page, prelims have minor browning to margins, some wear to title label; otherwise close VG for date. .
