First issued in 1898" as "The Motograph Moving Picture Book,'' it was one of the first novelties to appear when the public was being entranced by the new "moving pictures" of film. Great for toy collectors, magic & film buffs, & historians. This is a facsimile edition from Dover, in 32 pages with a Preface & Explanation. Softcover 4to (8.25" x 11) has colorfully decorated red wrappers with a die cut window on the front. Condition is Near Fine: just a tad of edgewear & slightly curled corners prevents it from being as crisp as Brand New! Completely clean, stapled binding secure with no rust, pages white & unmarked.
