Octavo; colour pictorial papered boards a little lightly sunned, rubbed and bumped; edges and endpapers a little foxed; endpapers lightly offset; a very good copy. Presentation copy inscribed, dated (1957) and signed by the author to Paula and Richard Samek. The frontispiece portrait of the author is also inscribed and signed by the author (using a different pen).
