Very Good hardcover with tiny chips at the heel and crown in a Very Good dust jacket with some light edge wear, tiny chips at the crown and one short closed tear/crease. A handsome copy. All dust jackets are protected by a clear mylar cover. BOOKS SHIP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, WRAPPED IN PADDING, IN A BOX. 31 pages plus 16 color plates and one b&w text illustration; 5 x 7.25 inches. The Aztecs left a number of books of pictographs depicting their history and legends. Burland provides a short history of Aztec book-making and deciphers a number of images from them. Gorgeous reproductions.
