Words and music for four-part voice.Transcribed, edited and with an introduction by Harry Lincoln. Collection of 18 madrigals originally published in Bescia in 1588. Marc-Antonio Martinengo, Count of Villachiara, composed the text and music for L'Amorosa Ero and then asked seventeen other Italian musicians to compose on the same text. Later, the text was reworked from a secular to religious theme.. Hard Cover.
