New York: Horace Liveright, 1928. First printing (no additional printings listed). Two volume set, without box. Translated from the German by Isabel Leighton and Otto P. Schinnerer. Two-tone green boards with black lettering. Top edges stained black. Very light shelfwear. The spine title of vol. 2 is a bit smeared. The top edge stain of vol. 1 is faded. Otherwise fine, unmarked copies in tight bindings. The dust jackets have edgewear and chips at their spine heads; also small chips on the back panels. Each has a puncture at the rear joint. The spines are a bit sunned. The jacket prices, $5.00 for the set, are present on the front flaps.. First American Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Good+. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
