Most pages unopened, two Flammarion advertising leaflets and a red wrap-around banner advertising this novel laid in. A Russian lieutenant falls in love with haughty young widow, who does not return his affection, during the allied occupation of Paris in 1814. He returns to Russia, then finds himself in Paris again after the battle of Waterloo, still in amorous agony. In French. Shipping weight 2 lbs. (International 1 lb., 4 oz.). Wraps. You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order.
