Inscribed by the author's wife, nearly a decade after the poet's death, on the front free endpaper: "To_______ / with fond memories / of our special visit! / Barbara Nissman Haberman / Nov. 17 '07 / Provo." Daniel Haberman played a key role in establishing the American Poets' Corner at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. His wife, Barbara, is a well-known American pianist.
