About This Item

Phaidon, 2001. First Edition. Paperback. Good. Paperback book, not ex-library; remainder mark on bottom edge. Binding is strong and all leaves are intact. Text block is free of markings and dog-ears. Exterior has some scuffing and smudges. 128 pp. (unpaginated) with over 50 photographic works reproduced, about 1/3rd of them in color. Laszlo Moholy-Nagy (1895-1946) was a major innovator of the avant-garde and one of the twentieth century's most important art theoreticians. He experimented ceaselessly with new ways of seeing - using photo-montages, photograms, film and kinetic sculpture - and proposed the camera as a way of complementing and perfecting the human eye. Heavy books or multi-volume sets will require additional postage. Send me a message before purchase if you want a quote; otherwise, I will contact you after purchase with the final shipping price. Ships from USA.
