The first trade edition, first impression of this novel by David Garnett. Also known as 'Bunny' by his friends and intimates, Garnett was an English writer and publisher, prominent member of the literary Bloomsbury Group, mainly known for his allegorical novel Lady into Fox, for which he received the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for fiction. Concerning the love relationship between Alice Cross and Roger Lydiate.  In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. A very light cocking forward to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Minor faint staining mark to the title page and first few leaves, otherwise the pages are bright and clean. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
