Light thumb marking and tanning to pages with slight foxing and staining to text block edges. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Pen inscription to front pastedown. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with moderate staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has moderate staining and sunning with soft fraying and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

This fairly substantial volume contains two books - the well known Little Women and the lesser known Good Wives. There are 8 colour plates, 4 each per story. Unusual with original dust jacket, not price clipped - 3'6. Blue cloth covered boards with dark blue lettering to cover and backstrip. Very good condition. Slight chipping to upper/lower edge of spine to dj. Slight fading along upper edge of book where dj exposed the cloth. Contents appears unread.

Light tanning to spine and edges. Water staining to both panels.
